Walking   & climbing are very popular activities on Arran

The Coastal Way  follows a continuous 100 km route around the island

The Island has scenic roads for cycling, especially 
the west coast & Machrie Moor road are ideal for this. 
You can also go off road, and there are
quite a few forestry tracks that you can use.

Fishing is another activity you can do. Iorsa water 
& the Machrie burn are some of the better waters.

If you fancy a  thrill, then have a go at  Paragliding

If it is a wet day, then    Auchrannie    is a great place to go for
a swim, sauna, steam room, sanarium, footbaths, 
feature showers and health treatments etc. 
There is a 20 metre indoor pool
with children's pool and water features.

spa shop with gifts, clothing and Island produce

It also has indoor tennis courts, badminton courts, table tennis,
